The School Readiness Solutions Group, chaired by Carl Kohrt, CEO of Battelle, released this report on August 25, 2006. The report sets forth ten recommendations for creating and sustaining high quality learning experiences for young children in Ohio.
The Solutions Group was created by the State Board of Education in June 2005 to develop recommendations for a high quality early education and care system for children and families in Ohio. The recommendations are expected to be part of the State Board of Education's FY08-09 budget recommendations, and will be discussed at the September 2006 meeting of the State Board of Education.
